I highly recommend Dr. Hector Rios, DDS, PhD, and his team of PERIOS Advanced Periodontics & Dental Implants for dental implants! 10 out of 10! The professionalism, expertise, and hospitality of Dr. Rios and his team, Alexis, Daniella, Lori, etc. is impressive. From my first appointment and consultation, I felt at ease. Dr. Rios and his assistant (forget her name) was helpful and answered all my questions, explaining the process and procedures clearly and thoroughly. I had 3 implants and a bridge, so 4 altogether. Every step of the way, I was guided with friendly staff and state of the art equipment. On a BIG screen I was able to view an entire head/skull view of my jaw, mouth, and teeth with digital imaging and AI during the entire 8-month process. The waiting room was clinical yet welcoming, giving an air of professional curtesy. I’m so glad I chose PERIOS dental. Best, Gretchen Cline

Thanks for your feedback! I'm sorry the elevator isn't great. It's safe but can be tricky. We are ALWAYS happy to assist you. There is a doorbell at the entrance. Give us a ring or a phone call and we will go on that elevator adventure with you.

I do feel as though your office gives the best possible/available dental service. But, I continually feel presure to do both sides of my mouth at the same time. I'm always sooooooooo thankful that I did not do both sides at the same time. Is this because you are so booked with appointments it would save time? That is the impression I'm getting. I don't know how I would be able to eat or recover from both sides at once. Thank you for your great service.

PeRios PC Advanced Periodontics is providing excellent care for my teeth and gums —not easy because they are old, but are being well cared for! The office is bright an immaculate, and v the office staff are kind and cheerful , They thoughtfully schedule me so i consistently have my own hygienist who “knows” my teeth and gums, and helps me keep them healthy. The office has been nicely remodeled. The staff apologized for not putting signs up the day I'd stopped by to set up an appointment in October - they had refused to do so because they were holding a CPR class in the lobby and couldn't be bothered. I was very embarrassed and humiliated that day and if it weren't for the respect I have for Dr. Rios, I wouldn't have called later to set it up.

Dr. Rios took the time to help me diagnose what was really going on with my teeth and what the best option was. I saw my primary dentist and a root canal specialist with conflicting opinions. Dr. Rios took a complete scan of my mouth and we looked at the 3D scan together, talked about the progression of my issues, timing and level of on and off pain. After nearly 20 minutes of counsel, Dr. Rios got me in a dental chair and performed some bite related diagnostics. That set of bite "tests" helped to reveal a microscopic vertical crack in my #5 tooth. We then discussed removal and he performed the same. Pain, yes. Expensive, yes. But getting to the core problem on the correct tooth and only having to pay one time for the best long-term solution (implant) was very much appreciated by this very experienced dental patient. Thanks Doc!

I would give a 5 but I think the aftercare is very vague and it should apply just to my procedure- not all procedures. First - surgical hygiene is vague. It says that it is very important to follow the oral hygiene regimen as prescribed by your doctor. There is nothing that was prescribed except for the vague description under “Surgical Hygiene “ Please give me a prescription just for a procedure that has sutures. I don’t need to hear about dressings. It says that dressings use warm saltwater but does a person with just sutures use the saltwater also? It says that sutures will be removed in 5 to 11 days. My are scheduled to come out in 25 days! I was told that day 25 is the first day available! It also says if no dressing is used I will see small black sutures between my teeth. I see no black sutures. I just see white - sutures maybe? So terrible aftercare. 25 days with white - are they sutures? They aren’t black. So 25 days with vague surgical hygiene explanation. I guess I will use warm saltwater. It makes sense but only says to use in area of dressing. I thought I just had sutures.

I've always felt that my needs and care were their primary concern when attending me. I believe Dr. Rios upholds the highest ethics when deciding the best treatment for his patient, as demonstrated in a recent visit, where he determined, mid procedure, that it was better for me to have an extraction, rather than the more expensive osseous procedure. That impressed me, and you can trust that I will recommend he and his team to all of my friends and family.
